Circular Games is a collection of offline mini-games for Wear OS. This policy explains what data the app accesses and, more importantly, what it does not do with it.
Circular Games does not collect, store, or transmit any personal data itself. The app contains no analytics, advertising, or crash-reporting software development kits (SDKs), and does not require or support user accounts.
Some content in Circular Games can be unlocked through in-app purchases, processed entirely by Google Play Billing. Circular Games does not receive, store, or process your payment details (such as card numbers) — these are handled directly by Google Play under Google's own privacy policy, available at policies.google.com/privacy. The app only receives confirmation of what you've purchased, so it knows which content to unlock on your device.
Some games unlock once you reach a daily step-count threshold. To support this, the app uses the Activity Recognition permission to track your step count via Android Health Services, including passively in the background so your daily total stays accurate without the app being open. This data is processed on-device only, used solely to determine which games are unlocked that day, is never transmitted off the device, and is never shared with the developer or any third party.
Game progress and unlock state are stored locally on your device. Nothing is sent to, or backed up on, any server operated by the developer. Like most Android apps, Circular Games allows Android's own device backup to include its saved data (such as high scores) in the backup tied to your Google account, so your progress can be restored if you reinstall or move to a new watch. That backup is operated by Google under Google's privacy policy, and you can turn device backup off in your device's Google settings. Uninstalling the app removes its data from the device itself.
The only third party involved is Google Play, which processes in-app purchases on our behalf as described above. Circular Games does not share data with any other third party.
Because Circular Games does not collect or hold any personal data about you, there is no personal data for the developer to access, correct, delete, or export on your behalf. The data-protection rights granted under the UK GDPR and EU GDPR (including access, rectification, erasure, and portability) therefore have nothing to operate on with respect to this app. Where processing does occur on-device (your step count), it happens solely on your watch under your control, and you can stop it at any time by revoking the Physical activity permission in your watch's settings or by uninstalling the app. For data handled by Google Play (purchases, device backup), you can exercise your rights directly with Google via Google's privacy policy. If you believe your data-protection rights have been infringed, you have the right to lodge a complaint with your supervisory authority — in the UK, the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO).
If this policy changes — for example, if a future update adds a feature that accesses data — this page will be updated and the "last updated" date above will change.
