Step Bloom is a watch face for Wear OS. The short version: it collects nothing, stores nothing and sends nothing anywhere.
Step Bloom does not collect, store, or transmit any personal data. It is built with Google's Watch Face Format, which means it contains no program code of its own — only a layout that your watch draws. It requests no permissions, has no internet access, contains no analytics, advertising, or crash-reporting software development kits (SDKs), and does not require or support user accounts.
The face displays the time, the day and date, and your daily step count — drawn both as a number and as a field of dots, one dot per 25, 50, 100 or 250 steps as you choose. To do that it reads today's step count from your watch, and, if you select that option, the daily step goal your watch already holds. Step data is read by your watch and drawn on screen only. It is not recorded, kept, or sent anywhere, and no step data leaves your watch because of this face. The face cannot remember anything between glances: it holds no history of your steps, and nothing from yesterday.
The face has four complication slots. Two of them show your watch battery and heart rate until you change them; the other two are empty. A complication is supplied by your watch or by another app you have chosen, and this face only draws what that source hands it — it cannot read, store, or forward that information. Which complications you pick, and your other settings such as colour and step goal, are kept by Wear OS on your watch, not by the developer. Data shown in a complication is governed by the privacy policy of whichever app provides it.
If you buy Step Bloom, the purchase is processed entirely by Google Play. The developer does not receive, store, or process your payment details — these are handled directly by Google under Google's own privacy policy, available at policies.google.com/privacy.
The only third party involved is Google Play, which distributes the face and processes purchases as described above. Step Bloom does not share data with anyone.
Because Step Bloom does not collect or hold any personal data about you, there is no personal data for the developer to access, correct, delete, or export on your behalf. For data handled by Google Play (such as your purchase), you can exercise your rights directly with Google via Google's privacy policy. If you believe your data-protection rights have been infringed, you have the right to lodge a complaint with your supervisory authority — in the UK, the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO).
Step Bloom is not directed at children and collects no data from anyone, including children.
If this policy changes — for example, if a future update adds a feature that accesses data — this page will be updated and the "last updated" date above will change.
